Prompting Basics
A good prompt is a compact brief. The most reliable results come from describing the subject, the visual treatment, and the context in clear, concrete language.

A Simple Prompt Formula
Subject + Style + Composition + Lighting + Medium
Example:
"Ceramic tea set on a walnut table, warm studio light, top-down composition, editorial product photo"
Make It Specific
- Subject - What is the main object or scene?
- Style - What mood or aesthetic do you want?
- Composition - Close-up, wide, centered, rule of thirds, top-down, etc.
- Lighting - Soft daylight, rim light, neon, golden hour.
- Medium - Photo, illustration, poster, screen print, 3D render.
Iterate Intentionally
- Change one variable at a time (lighting, style, or composition).
- Keep notes on what produced the best results.
- When you land on a strong direction, save it as a reusable prompt.
Print-Friendly Prompts
If you plan to print, consider:
- Clear subject separation for clean edges.
- Simple backgrounds if the product has bleed or margins.
- Aspect ratio that matches the intended product shape.
